About the High Atlas
The High Atlas are North Africa’s highest mountain range and is known by local Berbers as ‘Idraren Draren’ (Mountains of Mountains). Running diagonally across Morocco for almost 1000km, they encircle Marrakesh to the south and east, guaranteeing some of the most mesmerising views.
