The Mirrorcube at Treehotel, Harads, Sweden
The Mirrorcube is an exciting hide-out among the trees, camouflaged by mirrored walls that reflect their surroundings. Don't be tricked by the small dimensions, as once you enter there is plenty of room for an incredibly comfortable stay. The base consists of an aluminium frame around a tree trunk and the walls are covered with reflective glass which makes it almost invisible. The interior is made from plywood with a birch surface and hand crafted details and furnishing gives it an authentic and homey feel. With six little windows you are sure to enjoy the stunning panoramic view surrounding this little haven. A 12-meter-long bridge leads up to the tree room and it is the only way in, or out. The Mirrorcube offers excellent accommodation for two people with a double bed, toilet, a lounge and a rooftop terrace to soak up the immensely beautiful Swedish countryside. There are modern showers located in two separate buildings close by. All the tree-rooms are also equipped with WiFi, which is quite handy. The Britta’s Pensionat is open for Treehotel’s guests, serving up a delicious breakfast, healthy lunch and a hearty dinner in an authentic 1930-1950’s setting. All guests can enjoy the hotel facility which includes a restaurant, bar, sauna and a relaxation area, all a short stroll away. Going back to nature has never looked so good!

Harads is a village situated in Boden Municipality in the Norrbotten County, Sweden. Approximately 50 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle it is home to circa 501 inhabitants. The natural landscape is the main attraction here. Enchanted walks through a green forest and little houses with pointed roofs make this place a trip back down to memory lane, where life is simple, honest and relaxed. In the winter months you can take short trips to experience the Northern Lights, a truly incredible natural phenomena.
